Suspected $600 Supreme Sweatshirt Swiper Nabbed: Cops
We aren't sure we'd pay $600 for this sweatshirt either, but the Mission Viejo Police arrested a suspect who allegedly ran off with one.
MISSION VIEJO, CA — Thanks to tips from area residents, the Mission Viejo Police Services were able to locate a suspect wanted in the case of the purloined $600 sweatshirt. Two weeks ago, an online reseller attempted to sell the pricey garment, meeting their buyer near La Paz and Marguerite.
Instead of paying the promised $600, the suspect flashed a knife and took off with the sweatshirt in question, police say.
A report was filed, and detectives began seeking the one responsible.

Though it looks like an ordinary Hanes sweatshirt, this brand is highly coveted for its "one of a kind" nature, according to apetogentlemen.com, who says: "The online resale market for rare Supreme is a thriving cottage industry, with items being sold for at least twice their original value, and often much more."
