Traffic Delays Expected In Mission Viejo Saturday, SMWD Says

MISSION VIEJO, CA — South Orange County residents can expect traffic delays along Marguerite Parkway in Mission Viejo this Saturday, the Santa Margarita Water District announced.

The traffic delays come as SMWD crews plan to permanent repair roads impacted by the emergency recycled water main break that occurred earlier this year.

Residents can expect denser-than-usual traffic congestion on Marguerite Parkway between Santa Margarita Parkway and Mustang Run on Saturday, April 29 from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Crews will work extended hours to complete the work in one day.

"There are no impacts on the drinking water system," SMWD wrote in an online statement. "All customers in the area will have access to drinking water."
