Trails Lengthened, Paved In Oso Creek Thanks To City Crews

Public service crews paved roughly 1,300 feet of Oso Creek Trail in Mission Viejo over the weekend.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — The trail through Oso Creek just got a little smoother, after Mission Viejo public service crews paved and extended roughly 1,300 feet of Oso Creek Trail.

The fresh pave-job started at Jeronimo Road on the north side of the tunnel location connecting to the existing paved Oso Creek Trail.

The paved surfacing continues through the open space toward Casta Del Sol Road, the city said.

According to the city, a future phase of work to be done on Oso Creek Trail will include a small trail-head parking lot, restroom and cafe.
