West Side Story Sold Out at Capo Valley High

Capistrano Valley High School brings the West Side Story to Mission Viejo.

Capistrano Valley High School performing arts department presents the classic, West Side Story, sold out for their opening night Wednesday evening.

"The students started working together on this show in Feb, " Director and Producer Erin Girard said.

The program is a seventh period class that Capistrano Valley students take for elective credits.  The staff has numerous positions from stage hands, orchestra, costume design, and much more - comprising a total of about 100 students within the whole production.

"The show is absolutely awesome," Capistrano Valley High School student Savannah Nichols, 18, said, "The dancing is my favorite part of this show."
