While so many of us are making things for our families and friends, the Crafty Ladies are busy creating handmade items for someone in need this holiday season. After all, isn’t Christmas a warm blanket, sweater, scarf or hat wrapped in love from an angel.
With needles and yarn in hand, the Crafty Ladies knit and crochet cozy items for the Marines, Veterans, babies, kids and families. Crafty Ladies are one of the few groups in Orange County that donate everything they make.
They are in need of yarn. Yarn supplies are low as the group is working on making warm items for the winter months and holidays.

Your donations of washable, acrylic yarn can be dropped off at the Norman Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo, CA 92691 or please call 949/470-3062 for information. Even small rolls of yarn can make a baby hat. To arrange pickups, please call 949/309-1235.
If you or someone you know wants to knit, crochet or just socialize with other yarn lover’s, check out Crafty Ladies at the Center at 9:30 am.
