Your Candidates for Mission Viejo City Council

Eight candidates are now officially lined up for three open Mission Viejo City Council seats in November.

The deadline to file papers ended at 5 p.m. today.

Mayor Pro Tem Dave Leckness and Councilmember Rhonda Reardon are up for re-election while Mayor Trish Kelley is termed out.

On Nov. 4, voters will consider the following candidates:

Grant J. Voss

Desi Joseph Kiss

Wendy Bucknum

Steven G. Thornton

David “Dave” Leckness

Greg Raths

Rhonda Reardon

Ed Sachs

The public can review the “Candidate Statements” at the close of business on the city’s website.
