MONROVIA, CA — One person suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound Wednesday in Monrovia that authorities said was accidental.
A man suffered the gunshot wound around 12:18 a.m. on the 2500 block of Peck Road, according to a spokesperson from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
No information was immediately available on the victim's condition or if he was transported to the hospital, the sheriff's department said.
Video from the scene shows a man being loaded into an ambulance and sheriff's deputies responding to the scene.
