Blog: Come Sing in Handel's Messiah!

Anyone who loves singing is invited to join us for this year's community choir presentation of Handel's Messiah sponsored by First Presbyterian Church, Monrovia.

Under the direction of Dr. Peter Green (http://www.glendale.edu/index.aspx?recordid=2346&page=2393), who has the ability to motivate and inspire us with humor and patience. If you have never performed with an orchestra this is your chance to do it!  

The choir is comprised of a unique combination of professional singers (yes, even Opera!) and amateurs who just plain love singing!

Rehearsals start October 11th and the concert is on December 9th this year. In years past we have averaged about 60 voices and an audience filling the church! Remember, it's a community choir so it doesn't matter what faith you are. All are welcome!

Rehearsals are from 7:30-8:30pm beginning Oct. 11th. The entrance to the choir room is located on the East side of the church near the back. You will see it straight ahead when you enter the parking lot on Encinitas. See you soon!
