Patch Blog: Support Mrs. Schlicht's Special Ed Class at Bradoaks!
We have another easy and affordable opportunity to help the children at Bradoaks School!

READER ALERT: You may recall that, last month, I profiled , a great way to support our schools. The morning that blog was published, the one project listed on the organization's website for Mrs. Povinelli's class at was fully funded.
Great news! Another project has been listed and approved, this time for Ms. Schlicht's Special Needs class. I found it yesterday when I circled back to the site to see if other teachers at MUSD had used the site. I went so far as to the donate the first $10 to get the project funding jump started. Now, your help is needed.
Ms. Schlicht is seeking a total of $588 dollars for enrichment materials. She has a combination class with diverse needs. In order for her project to be fully funded, a total of $578 is required.

This was my first time making a donation through the site. It was so easy to do. While I have no children in the MUSD (my grandkids live in Covina and Rancho Cucamonga), I figured I would fritter $10 away on something silly, when $10 could make a difference in the lives and educations of kids in my home town.
If you're interested in making a difference in the community in which we live and play, please check out Ms. Schlicht's project on DonorsChoose.org and consider how you might be able to help.
