Monrovia High School celebrated the commitments of seven more students to four-year universities.
The weather is heating up and so are the number of seniors making their official commitments to four-year universities.
Seven students were celebrated on Monday afternoon as the sun heated up the quad of MHS. Renaissance member Michael Arevalos made his commitment to Cal Poly Pomona official as his mother and younger brother looked on. In addition, Luis Sanchez and Reed Miller joined a contingent of Wildcats heading North to UC Santa Cruz. Associate Principal Kirk McGinnis, a Banana Slug himself, let out a cheer of approval as these two young men signed their intent.
Senior Bailey Eskew made her commitment to CSU San Marcos. She is the first Wildcat to head to this university this year. Megan Foyer is headed East to attend the University of Minnesota in the fall and Robby Garner will be off to UC Riverside.
