JEWISH FEDERATION LAUNCHES COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS

Join the dialogue about what excites and concerns you about "being and doing Jewish", in the San Gabriel & Pomona Valleys

On Sunday, July 24 beginning at 10:00am, community members in the greater San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys will have an opportunity to join with one another in robust dialogue about what excites and concerns them about "being and doing Jewish."

Sponsored by the Jewish Federation of the Greater San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys, this Community Conversations will be informative and highly participatory, with the basic purpose of creating a face to face dialogue between community members and Jewish communal and congregational leadership about the issues, needs and concerns of Jews and others who consider themselves part of or friends of the Jewish community in the eastern section of Los Angeles County.

After socializing and light refreshment, the Community Conversation will begin with a brief “TED style" talk will present several ideas for dialogue. Following this presentation, there will be an opportunity for two short small group conversations, followed by a report out to the whole group. Local organizations connected to Jewish community interests will have information tables and representatives in attendance. These organizations include Interfaith Family/Los Angeles, PJ Library, Seeds of Hope and others. No fundraising will be conducted.
