Man Fatally Shot Near Monrovia
Authorities withheld the name of the man, who died at the scene, pending notification of his relatives.
EL MONTE, CA -- A man was shot to death Tuesday in a residential area of El Monte.
The shooting occurred shortly before 9 a.m. in the 9800 block Giovane Street. No arrests were reported.

Sheriff's homicide detectives were assisting El Monte police detectives in the investigation. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call the Sheriff's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500, or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222- TIPS.
