MONROVIA, CA -- Three hikers who went missing overnight in the San Gabriel Mountains north of Azusa were found Monday.
The men were hiking Sunday off San Gabriel Canyon Road (39) in the Angeles National Forest and arranged a meeting point for family at 7:30 p.m., said Sgt. Lyndon Dancel of the San Dimas Sheriff's Station.
The relatives arrived at the meeting point and waited but didn't hear from the hikers, Dancel said. A search and rescue team began searching for the hikers in the darkness at about 1:20 a.m. Monday, he said.
