Monrovia High School Boys Varsity Water Polo Team News!

Varsity team takes 3rd place in Inaugural Varsity Bull Run Tournament!

The Monrovia High School Boys Varsity Water Polo team attended the Inaugural Varsity Bull Run Tournament (hosted by Diamond Bar High School) this past Friday and Saturday. They played 5 games, losing only one game by 2 points. That game was played without their main goalie, due to heat exhaustion, a field player took over his position. In true Wildcat fashion they fought like a team until the end, further demonstrating their versatility and dedication! It’s with great pride we share that they took 3rd place in the tournament, out of 24 teams, earning Monrovia High School a plaque! This is the first time an MHS water polo team brings home a plaque! They are now 10-1! Fellow Monrovians, please give our Boys Varsity Water Polo team a round of applause! Congratulations: Ares Torres (Sr. Captain), Arman Essaian, Austin Jordan, Brenden Pedrotti, Colin Downs, Jacob Miravet (Sr. Captain), Josh Ocampo (Goalie), Louis Cardona, Robby Grisanti, Travis Pratt and Head Coach - Lev Bates.
