Monrovia Police surrounded home after the man was seen peeking in through the woman's windows.

Monrovia Police arrested a 29-year-old man Friday afternoon after the suspect was peeping into his estranged partner's home, scaring the woman.
Authorities received the call at 3:50 p.m. The female caller told police she saw her estranged partner peeking in through her windows, according to scanner reports.
Police arrived to the residence in the 600 block of Cloverleaf Drive and established a perimeter to prevent the man from escaping, said Lieutenant Nels Ortlund. According to scanner reports, the man was known to hide in areas around the home to evade detection, specifically in the bushes around the property.
Police did find the man hiding amongst some bushes and arrested him without incident, Ortlund said.
Authorities would not disclose the man's name, citing an ongoing investigation, but did reveal the man was also arrested on an outstanding $30,000 warrant. The nature of the warrant was not immediately known. The nature of the relationship between the man and woman was also not known.
The suspect was also served a restraining order that had yet to be served, Ortlund said.
