UPDATE: Gunman Who Shot Into Car with Child in Back Seat

According to a press release, the investigation on  further revealed that as a male adult was backing his vehicle out of a residential driveway with his 3-year-old son in the back seat, a gray sedan with at least three men in it suddenly pulled up and stopped in the roadway.

The front passenger sitting on the right of the gray sedan got out of the vehicle and fired approximately six shots, striking the passenger side of the victim's vehicle, police said.  

The gunman returned to the sedan, and the vehicle fled from the area at a high rate of speed, police said. No one was injured during this incident.

The investigation continues.
