Watch: Bears Munch On Trash In Monrovia
A group of bears had fun climbing trees and rummaging through trash for their morning meal in Monrovia.

MONROVIA, CA – Six messy bears searched for breakfast in Monrovia early Monday morning and left trash scattered in the neighborhood while searching for their morning meal. The bears were tipping over trash cans and eating their findings in the 1000 block of Norumbega Drive, and it was all caught on camera.
The group of bears eventually went back into the woods, ABC7 reported.
Monrovia is not a stranger to bears – there are even Samson the Bear statues scattered around town. The statues are in honor of a "particularly bold" 500-pound California black bear residents would see around town grabbing a bite to eat from a trash can or a fruit tree, according to the City of Monrovia. But Samson's fame didn't really come from his food rummaging skills, it came for his love of relaxing in hot tubs after a long day of rummaging for food.
