7 Acres Charred in Brush Fire Near Tujunga [UPDATED]

TUJUNGA, CA - A fire scorched about seven acres of brush in rugged terrain near Tujunga, but no structures were ever threatened.
The non-injury blaze was reported shortly before 11 a.m. near the 7600 block of Alpine Way and was extinguished in about an hour, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A mutual-aid response involving ground and air crews included personnel from the Los Angeles city and county fire departments, the Angeles National Forest and the Glendale Fire Department.
