
The Glendale Community College Lifelong Learning Seminars program for seniors offers a wide range of free classes during the current spring semester.
The Lifelong Learning Seminars are held at locations throughout Glendale, including the Life Skills Building above the college’s main campus off Mountain Street, near the Glendale (2) freeway; the Professional Development Center in Montrose at 2340 Honolulu Ave.; Pacific Park, 501 S. Pacific; Adult Recreation Center, 201 E. Colorado; and Sparr Heights Community Center at 1613 Glencoe.
Seminars include Quality of Life, Contemporary World Affairs, Art History, Film Appreciation, Philosophy and Ethics, Sketching, Self-Discovery via Writing, Quilt Making, Introduction to Painting, Watercolor, Ancient Civilization, Diet and Nutrition, Intro to Computers, Windows, Internet and Email, Integrated Technology, Where’s My Memory and The Simple Life.
