Girl Scout high school students from local Los Angeles schools recently visited AT&T Interactive in Glendale to learned about the work force at AT&T/Junior Achievement and meet local leaders.
City of Glendale Mayor Frank Quintero and Glendale City Manager Scott Ochoa offered the students advice and encouraging words about staying in school and finding jobs they are passionate about.
Building on the success of AT&T’s first Job Shadow initiative, a key component of Aspire, AT&T will use similar events such as this to create an evolved Job Shadow program in which employee-student teams learn work and life skills, explore real business problems and form lasting relationships.
