
The Glendale Community College Parent Education program currently has openings in some of the free parenting classes offered this fall semester.
There are openings in the classes for 7 to 12 month olds on Tuesdays from 12 to 2 p.m. or Thursdays from 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. The classes for 13 to 19 month olds that meet Tuesdays from 3 to 5:30 p.m. or Fridays from 11:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. also have space available.
Parents attend with their children to participate in activities designed to stimulate the development of young children, as well as give parents skills and strategies for positive and effective parenting.

Class meetings are held at the Glendale College Life Skills Building off Mountain St. near the Glendale (2) Freeway at the main campus and at local elementary schools. Call 818-243-5196 for registration information or go to http://www.glendale.edu/ce.
