Military banners along Foothill Boulevard suffered significant damage (and survived longer than the Crescenta Valley Town Council thought they would).
Banners that remain hanging will not be removed, however flags that fell during the winds can be retrieved by calling council member Danette Erickson at (818) 249-9577 or emailing dannette7@charter.net.
Not all missing flags were found, according to the CV Town Council website.
