The Angeles National Forest needs your help!

The West Fork San Gabriel River Conservancy is a California regestered non-profit organization initially formed by a group of local fly fishermen.  We are focused on the restoration and preservation of this highly stressed area and work to reduce the negative impact caused by the area's heavy recreational use.

We work under agreement with the US Forest Service. Our "Patrol Leaders" wear Forest Service Uniforms and carry Forest Service Radios.  We work closely with the ANF "Recreation" crews to help with the work hampered by their current budget cuts.

The "WFC" welcomes like minded individuals to join us, either for the day, or on an ongoing basis.  Visit http://www.WestForksgrc.org for more information, and please visit our "photos" page for a better idea of what we do. While you're there, check out our "Kids Academy" where we have fun teaching fly fishing, while instilling the need for conservation with a new generation (and hopefully training our replacements!).
