CSA's own Thunder, 14U Fastpitch Softball, tournament All-Star team took second place two weeks ago at the ASA State Championship games. This has qualified Thunder to attend the California State Junior Olympics next weekend in San Diego. This team has been the team to beat this year as they have entered six different tournaments, won two and have played in the championship game in four of the six tournaments. This team has won over 80% of their games and have outscored their opponents almost 2 to1. Thunder has played in 29 softball games in the last 9 weeks bringing a total of 829 at bats as a team with a team batting average of .333.
