Blog: Do You Have a Competitive La Crescenta Family?

I grew up in La Crescenta and have been working in reality television for over 10 years. I have always wanted to work on a project where I could help showcase fun, outgoing, and loving families, just like my family and the ones I grew up with in La Crescenta.  People don’t believe that someone can have a “normal” childhood while growing up in Los Angeles, but when you live in the Foothills, you also know that it can exist. My friends growing up all played sports and had warm relationships with their parents. Of course, there were the typical fights about not wanting to do homework and arguing with your siblings. However, we lived in a safe area with parents who were involved in our lives.

I feel like my current project is finally a good fit to “show off” families like this. It’s a new show for USA Network coming from the producers of CBS’ “Undercover Boss.” We are looking for families of four or more who are competitive and would like to win up to $10,000 by showing off their family bond.
