Patch Blog: Holy Week Services at La Crescenta Presbyterian

Holy Week Events:

La Crescenta Presbyterian will offer four services on three different days in celebration of Holy Week. On April 5 at 7 p.m. a Maundy Thursday service will be offered to the public that will include music by the choir and a brief message. Folks will be seated at tables in the sanctuary to receive communion. A dinner will be available at 6:15 p.m. as well in Koopmans Hall. On Good Friday a community service will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. Jeff Verry will offer a brief message. 

The Easter Sunday celebration will include two distinct services: The 9:15 a.m. service will feature contemporary music with praise band and the 11 a.m. service will feature the choir and bell choirs. Lee Cook will begin a new sermon series entitled “Tuned In” that will include references to popular television shows (Father Knows Best, Amazing Grace and Days of our Lives) both old and new.
