1. Eat veggies and fruit; skip processed foods. Real food fills you up and will keep you healthy.

3. Have 4-5 small meals a day. You won't get hungry and overeat.

4. Prepare your meals a day in advance, it eliminates bad choices.

5. Plan to work out weekly. Mark your workouts on a calender to keep yourself accountable.

6. Set short term goals. Make them achievable and reward yourself often (and not with food!).

7. Don't beat yourself up if you slip.

8. Be patient, change take time.

9. Visualize yourself at your goal weight. This helps with willpower and help you make smarter choices.

10. Try to strength train twice a week. If you build muscle it will speed up your metabolism.
