Students Raise Funds for Malawi, Africa Through Talent Show!

The students of La Crescenta Presbyterian Youth Group went all out in their annual "No-Talent Talent Show" to raise funds to help those in Malawi, Africa.

On Wednesday night the junior high and high school students from La Crescenta Presbyterian  hosted their annual "No-Talent Talent Show" as a benefit for  Bola Moyo, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and children in Malawi, Africa.

There were some hilarious acts including a cooking show hosted by "Rosemontster" Sarah Milbrodt and a faux "beauty contest"  between Nicole Marks and Allie Fernandez.  Other acts inlcuded a wonderfully danced ballet  by Maddie Blessinger, and a cookie  swallowing contest involving ten of  CV High's finest young women led by Carleigh Fernandez.  Daniel Emirkhanian and Jillian Kaufmann shared the emcee duties quite handily.

Kudos to Student Ministries Director Cameron Hackett for organizing this  successful event attended by approximately 100 people that raised $900 for Bola Moyo. A good time was had by all!
