Chic Meets Groomed at Buff & Tweeze

Just in time for the holidays, a new nail and skin care salon is painting nails red and waxing bushy eyebrows around town.

Family-owned salon is run by Fida Aziz, former waxing and facial specialist from . 

Aziz started her own business this week, featuring chic, modern designs created entirely by her daughter Tania Aziz and painted by Allison Aziz, Fida's daughter-in-law. The violet and white salon hosts a one-stop shop for a gel manicure, regular pedicure or have a relaxing foot massage.

Buff & Tweeze offers various skin care treatments, including microdermabrasion, permanent makeup, waxing for every body part, facials, chemical peels, acne treatments and eyelash and eyebrow tinting.   

The group brought in about six special massage chairs, picked out more than 20 shades of red in OPI and Essie brands and ordered tons of gossip magazines for clients. 

One section of the salon also offers a spot for customers to sit at a bar during the nail-dry period - a perk for locals looking for something fun or different.

"I think that this place has an aesthetic that will appeal to young clients," Allison Aziz told Patch. "Fida's had a lot of clients for a long time so they're going to continue coming to her."
