Christmas in August? Teen Boy Rescued from Chimney
The boy was stuck in the chimney for more than an hour.

LANCASTER, CA — A teenage boy was rescued Monday night after being stuck in a chimney in Lancaster for more than an hour.
Firefighters were called just after 7 p.m. to the 45000 block of Thornwood Avenue, according to Kyle Sanford, supervising dispatcher with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
It took until 8:20 p.m. to get the teenager out of the chimney, Sanford said.

Once freed, the boy was taken to a hospital, but his condition was not immediately available, Sanford said.
