Computers Stolen From Fremont Elementary Classrooms

School staff reported several classes were broken into this morning and eight iMacs missing.

Eight iMac computers were stolen from classrooms in a theft discovered on Friday morning.

The morning custodian reported the campus burglary about 7 a.m., Glendale police Sgt. Tom Lorenz told Montrose Patch.

Nine different windows were broken in various classrooms, Lorenz said. No one was injured.

"In some of the classrooms there was no property taken and in some there were iMacs taken," Lorenz said.

According to a Fremont staff member, the campus remains empty from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. No police or district security are on patrol.

Property damage and loss was estimated at $10,000.
