In response, <a href="http://fire.lacounty.gov/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Los Angeles County Fire Department</a> has increased staffing for the next 12 hours throughout the foothill region, county Inspector Quevondo Johnson told Patch.  "We've had high temperatures for the last few weeks and what we're concerned about now is the wind is picking up," Johnson said. North and northeast winds ranging from 15 to 25 mph could blow through the passes and canyons during the morning hours, combined with an offshore flow and warm air mass in the Los Angeles area, the NWS reports.  Johnson warned that campers should not have open fires, especially if the windy conditions persist.
