Home Burglary
On Thursday, August 11, a resident in the 2900 block of Getrude Avenue stepped out to her pool and returned one hour later to find a jewelry box missing from on top of the dresser in her master bedroom. The only unlocked door of the house was the one she had entered and exited from, connecting her laundry room to the pool area. All other doors and windows of the house were locked and secured. A set of antique gold and jade jewelry pieces, a platninum and diamond watch, a gold and diamond broach, a gold bracelet, and four gold Hawaiin bracelets were taken with the box. Values for the items were withheld in the incident report.

Home Burglary
On Monday, a man checking on a vacationing family member's home in the 3000 block of Stevens Street called the sheriff's department to report finiding the residence's front door open. Responding deputies cleared the location, found the house ransacked, and noted the door appeared to have been pried open. Due to the resident inability to inspect the house, deputies could not determine what may have been stolen.

A burglary occured in the 3100 block of Foothill Boulevard at 12:25 a.m. Saturday, August 13.
Glendale Police reported a vehicle break-in in the 3200 block of Alabama Street at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday.
At 4:55 a.m. Thursday, Glendale Police reported a burglary in the 2400 block of Honolulu Avenue.
Deputies reported an assault in the 2900 block of Community Avenue at 9:50 a.m. Thursday.

Patrick Klopping, 32, was arrested at 2:05 a.m. Saturday at 1812 N Verdugo Road on drunk in public charges.
At 10:45 p.m. Saturday, 41-year-old Gilmar Arnulfo Venegas was arrested on charges of driving while under the influence near Montrose and Pennsylvania Avenues.
Dale Christopher Jolly, a 36-year-old animator, was arrested on charges of driving while under the influence at 2:35 a.m. Thursday at 3061 Foothill Blvd.
