Petty Theft
On Tuesday, July 5, a shopper at Ralphs, 2675 Foothill Blvd., reported stolen her Motorola slide cell phone valued at $150. The woman told deputies that while in the store shopping she stopped to talk with a cashier for about 10 minutes. When she returned to her shopping cart, she saw the her cell phone had been taken from where she had left in her open purse. The store manager noted that no one had turned in a phone. The victim reported calling her phone but no one answered it.

Vandalism to a Vehicle
A resident in the 2400 block of Montrose Avenue reported vandalism of his 2010 black Scion XB while it was parked on the street by his residence some time between 11 p.m Tuesday, July 7, and 6 a.m. the following day. Scratches appeared on all areas of the vehcile except the roof, including a scrawl of "B13" across the hood. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2000.

At 1:05 a.m. Wednesday, Danny Fitzgerald Lawton, a 26-year-old student, was arrested at Towne Street and N. Verdugo Road on warrants for driving without a license and driving with a suspended license.

Glendale Police reported an assault in the 2600 block of Pickens Street at 11:50 p.m. Sunday, July 10.
Grand theft was reported by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s in the 2500 block of Foothill Boulevard at 10:30 p.m. Monday.
At 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Glendale Police reported malicious mischief/vandalism in the 3500 block of Burritt Way.
Glendale Police reported a burglary in the 2900 block of Montrose Avenue at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.
At 12:45 a.m. Thursday, Glendale Police reported an assault in the 3500 block of Verdugo Road.
Vandalism/malicious mischief was reported by Glendale Police in the 2100 block of Verdugo Boulevard at 8:53 a.m. on Thursday.
