Vehicle Burglary
A resident in the 2400 block of Carol Park Lane reported to deputies that some time between 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 8 and approximately 4 a.m. the following say, the driver's side window of her Hyundai Sonata was smashed. She reported stolen a wallet containing $100 cash and her license which had been inside the car's glovebox. Her iPod, valued at $400, was stolen from a cup holder on the car's center console.

Petty Theft from Unlocked Vehicle
A male resident in the 5700 block of Freeman Avenue walked out to his car on the morning of Saturday, August 6, to find a sunglasses case lying in the driveway. Thinking it had simply dropped from his car parked in the driveway, he put the case back but discovered the glove box and center console open and items missing. Deputies determined that due to no signs of forced entry the vehicle had been left unlocked. Reported stolen was a Dodger's rally towel values at $15, a Tom Tom GPS device worth $300, a garage remote control, set of keys, and $3 in coins.

Upon inquiry, a neighbor told deputies that she had been aware of her dogs barking around midnight the previous night when the theft was suspected to have occured. She then checked her own unlocked vehicle and found the glove box opened but nothing taken.

At 11 p.m. on Tuesday, a burglary occurred in the 4400 block of Lowell Avenue.
A violation of liquor laws occurred at 3:05 a.m. on Wednesday in the 3400 block of Verdugo Road.

Lorelei Fedeczko, a 27-year-old employed in property management, was arrested at 3:02 a.m. on Saturday, August 6 at 4144 Ocean View Blvd. on charges of driving without a valid license and driving while under the influence as well as on a warrant for charges of injury to another person.
David James Olander, 23, was arrested at 7 p.m. Monday near Broadview Drive and Verdugo Road on charges of disturbing the peace.
Steven Viramontes, 28, was arrested at Honolulu and La Crescenta Avenues at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday on charges of entering a structure with the intent to commit a crime once inside.
