Crystal Clear Public Art Project at GCC Gallery

"Crystal Clear," a public art project and exhibition by artist-activist collaborative Louder Than Words, will be on display at GCC.

“Crystal Clear,” a public art project and exhibition by artist-activist collaborative Louder Than Words, will be on display in the Glendale Community College Art Gallery Feb. 25 through March 31.

Louder Than Words’ S.A. Bachman and Neda Moridpour present the project to address issues of sexual assault and domestic violence. There will be presentations and workshops in the gallery including an opening reception from 5 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 25, a discussion on rape culture with Peace Over Violence from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on March 8, a panel of professors discussing art and activism from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on March 23 and daily quilting workshops from 1 to 1:30 p.m. The Monument Quilt will be on display in the gallery throughout the project’s run. The GCC gallery is located in the Library Building. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 12 to 5 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
