Debris Trucks Expected for Winter Season
Los Angeles County Flood Control District announced that Montrose and La Crescenta locals can expect debris basin clean-outs for the next several years, which is part of the Station Fire recovery period.

Residents can expect to see debris basin trucks driving up Ocean View and along Foothill Boulevard as rains continue this winter season, according to the Los Angeles County Flood Control District.
The rainfall total in 2010 was about 39 inches and the normal is rainfall is about 27 inches, Pat Wood of the Los Angeles County Flood Control District said during the Crescenta Valley Town Council meeting on Thursday.
With La Nina this year, forecasters expect rainfall to be less severe than last season, according to Wood. Locals are susceptible to enhanced rains, periods of flooding or mudslides and also dry seasons.
