Eros in Ruin Art Exhibition
Art exhibition "Eros in Ruin" will be on display in the Glendale Community College Art Gallery Oct. 27 through Dec. 3.

Art exhibition “Eros in Ruin” will be on display in the Glendale Community College Art Gallery Oct. 27 through Dec. 3.
The exhibition features the works of GCC studio arts professor David John Attyah, including drawing, sculpture and photography pieces.
Attyah’s work has been exhibited internationally, including in the Dominican Republic and Spain as well as at the Worcester Art Museum in Boston, MA. His “Eros in Ruin” is an exploration of the unconscious roots of social and psychological identity that draws on familiar images from Greek, Roman and European history and myth.

An artist reception will be held in the gallery on Nov. 21 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The GCC gallery is located in the Library Building. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 12 to 5 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
