Wine Tasting to Benefit Police Unity Tour

There will be a raffle drawing and silent auction to benefit the Police Unity Tour, Southern California Chapter VII. 

The primary purpose of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness about the police officers that have died in the line of duty through bicycling. In 2011, 163 officers were killed nationwide, six from California.

Their motto is, “We Ride for Those Who Died.” The secondary purpose is to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial and Museum. Since its’ inception in 1997, the Police Unity Tour has raised $8 million to support the NLEOM, with $1.5 million raised during last years’ 15th Annual Tour

Each rider is obligated to raise $1,800.00 to participate in this event. They are raising money so thousands of other  officers’ can ride in theTour this year and not let the heroes who have died in the line of duty be forgotten.
