Firefighters Doused Grass Fire at Homeless Encampment in Tujunga
The flames were extinguished in about an hour, fire officials said.

TUJUNGA, CA -- Firefighters on Wednesday extinguished a quarter-acre grass fire at a homeless encampment in the Tujunga area, authorities said.
The fire was reported about 5:20 a.m. near the 11100 block of Nassau Avenue, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The flames were extinguished in about an hour, Stewart said. No injuries were reported.
