Five Things You Need to Know Today: August 3

Take time for tea today or perhaps find a new talent.

5. As Patch reported this week, the California Citizen's Redistricting Commission has released maps showing proposed, new state districts. While the final meeting of the commission will be on August 15th after a two-week pulbic review period, no changes are expected to be made to the maps.
