Fremont Elementary Students Take the Walking School Bus
Every Glendale school participated in International Walk to School Day, including Fremont Elementary School in Sparr Heights.
Come rain or shine, students this morning for International Walk to School Day.
Outfitted in rain boots and umbrellas, students met in walking school bus groups and marched down Sierra Vista, Rosemary and Downing avenues for the event.
The walk is part of a week-long effort to encourage kids and their families to walk or bike to school.
