•Accomplishments: Sierra will graduate Thursday and is heading off to college to major in Asian Studies. Influenced by many of her Japanese and Korean friends, she wants to study these cultures, become more fluent in Asian languages, and go into foreign relations. With her sights sets on helping impoverished countries through humanitarian aid efforts, she hopes to make a difference in the world. Sierra is also considering working for the United Nations in the future. Most recently, the PTA and Kiwanis Club honored her with two college scholarships.
•About Sierra: "Stay in school, study hard" is her mantra. Sierra is constantly reminding others about the importance of education. At a recent acceptance speech for a scholarship, Sierra emphasized this concept to 600 students from her former elementary school. In her free time she enjoys baking desserts, reading informational books, doing community service and spending time with her friends.
