GCC Jazz Band in Concert

A Glendale Community College Jazz Big Band Concert will be held on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 4 p.m. in the Auditorium.
Craig Kupka is the director of the group, known as the “Big Bad Jazz Band.” The concert will feature the group’s vocalists and arrangements by pianist Michael Wetherwax. The program includes “Nasty Dance” and the original version of “Chattanooga Choo Choo.”
Tickets are $10 general admission and $7 for students and seniors. The college is located at 1500 N. Verdugo Rd. For information about the college music program go to www.glendale.edu/music.
