Help Rebuild Our Community and World: Careers in Engineering

"Help Rebuild Our Community and World: Careers in Engineering" will be presented at GCC on May 24.

“Help Rebuild Our Community and World: Careers in Engineering" is a lecture to be given at Glendale Community College on Tuesday, May 24 as part of the Science Lecture Series.

The lecture will be held at 12:20 p.m. in Cimmarusti Science Center room 177. It is free and open to the public.

The speakers are Scoot Dellinger, Vice President at engineering design firm AECOM and a CSULA adjunct professor in the civil engineering department; and Dr. Kanan Patel-Coleman, environmental risk assessment manager with AECOM. They will discuss career paths available within an engineering company and what young engineers should focus on for personal and career development. There will be emphasis on two civil engineering specialties, water resources and environmental, and how they improve communities.
