A mattress fire in a building in Sunland on Wednesday was extinguished in 17 minutes by 27 firefighters.
The fire was reported at 7:36 p.m. at 9324 N. Sunland Park Drive, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No injuries were reported.
