"Mod Pop," Annual Student Art Show

The Annual Student Art Show will be
held May 13 through June 3 in the Glendale Community College Art Gallery.

“Mod
Pop,”
is the theme of
this year’s show with the format resembling a modified pop-up art show.  Every GCC art student has the opportunity to
enter work produced during the fall 2013 or spring 2014 semesters.

Various disciplines including drawing,
painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, photography, design and jewelry are
included in the art show.   This year,
the awards will be selected based on “people’s choice” voting by faculty,
staff, students and guests rather than by an adjudicator.
