NBC's 'Awake' Will Film in Montrose Monday (Video)

Expect to see street closures in Montrose on Monday, Jan. 30, when NBC films its new sci-fi show 'Awake.'

NBC's new sci-fi show Awake will film in Montrose on Monday, shutting down several areas in the shopping village. 

Filming starts in the 2200 block of Honolulu Ave. from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, according to Steve Pierce, Ambassador to Montrose and Montrose Film Liaison.

After 1 p.m. the street will be re-opened, but filming will move to  to film at that location until 4 p.m., Pierce said.

The new show stars actor Jason Isaacs, who played Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies, and centers on Detective Michael Britten, who questions whether his wife or son are alive following a car crash. Sometimes, when he is awake, he sees his wife. Sometimes when he is awake, he sees his son. What really happened to him?
