Open Auditions held for GCC Theatre

Open auditions for the Glendale Community College Theatre Arts Department spring productions of William Shakespeare’s “Much Ado about Nothing” and “Infinite Black Suitcase” by E.M. Lewis will be held Wednesday, Feb. 18 and Thursday, Feb. 19 in the Auditorium at 7 p.m. Those who plan to audition can choose just one of the dates.
To audition, prepare a one- to two-minute classical monologue for “Much Ado about Nothing” or a one-to-two minute contemporary monologue for “Infinite Black Suitcase.” Those cast a spring production are required to take Theatre Arts 163 – Rehearsal and Performance in Contemporary Theatre Production and Theatre Arts 129 – Backstage Lab for Performers.
Stage managers and technical operators are also needed for both productions. Those interested should call 818-240-1000, ext. 5635 or 3044.
“Much Ado about Nothing” opens April 2 and “Infinite Black Suitcase” opens April 30.
