Open auditions held for Urinetown the musical

Open auditions will be held for the Glendale Community College Theatre Arts Department spring production in the Auditorium.

Open auditions will be held for the Glendale Community College Theatre Arts Department spring production at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11 and Thursday, Nov. 12 in the Auditorium. Those wishing to audition need only show up for one of the dates. Actors should prepare 16 bars of a song and wear comfortable clothes to move in. There will be a cold reading from the script. The spring production is the musical “Urinetown,” music by Mark Hollman, book by Greg Kotis, lyrics by Hollman and Kotis. The production opens March. 31. All cast members must enroll in two theatre arts workshops in the spring semester. The production will also need crew including stage managers, light and sound technicians.
